Siren 2007 makes installation and setup easy by automatically detect some aspects of your system for you. You will need to fine-tune details for your site.

Setup the following items in order:

1. Hardware

   Register hardware on your network that may be used to send messages.

2. Interfaces

   Configure how your hardware is used to send messages.

3. Contacts

   Maintain a contact database. Every contact is linked to an interface that determines how they will receive messages.

4. Contact Groups

   Maintain groups of contacts and user accounts so that a single message may be received by multiple recipients.

5. Alarms

   Setup alarms in advance for instant activation in an emergency.

6. Alarm Groups

   Maintain groups of alarms so that a single alarm activation can send personalized messages to any number of contacts.
