| Logout Why Logout? You should logout any time you are away from your computer. If you do not logout when you leave your computer untended then anyone in the vicinity could use your account. This may not be such a concern in a trusted zone, but consequences could be severe in other environments. Failing to logout may lead to misuse or abuse, with consequences such as: Siren 2007 could be used to evacuate your site. Accidental or intentional data corruption. Unauthorized access to personal contact information. Any actions performed by someone using the computer will be attributed to your account, and you will be held responsible.
How to Logout You can logout of the Siren 2007 by: By selecting Logout from the Preferences menu. By right-clicking the current user in the status bar on the main form, then clicking the logout option in the menu that appears..
Confirm that you are logged out by seeing that the Default User is shown as the current user in the status bar on the main form. Exiting Siren 2007 will also cause you to logout. |
