| Options The options to configure the connection to the server are the same as those shown on the Server Connection screen. The Standard edition of Siren 2007 is able to deliver messages using a sound card and voice modem on the server. The sound card used to send messages is detected automatically. If more than one sound card is installed then the Windows default sound card is used. The voice modem used to send messages to a telephone is detected automatically. If more than one voice modem is installed then you may wish to select an alternative from the list of detected devices. Telephone messages are sent to a single phone number. You would normally specify a phone number that dials into your public address system, security office or alarm management centre.
