Alarm Groups

Alarm groups provide two important functions:

• You can raise multiple alarms with a single command, allowing coordination of custom messages to assorted contacts.

• You can specify which alarm groups are visible to which users.

Permission to raise alarm groups is a property of the User Type of the logged in user. Alarm groups may be visible to all user accounts, or restricted so that they are visible to user accounts with a specific user account type. Some user account types are able to override this restriction and see all alarm groups.
