Interfaces determine how your hardware is used to send messages.

Detect Interfaces

The Actions menu provides options to automatically detect and register all or selected types of interface based on hardware available in your computer.

You would normally have one interface for every hardware item registered. However, some hardware may not be used and will not require an interface. In other circumstances it is possible for two or more interfaces to share hardware.

Interface Details

All interfaces have a name to identify it, associate hardware that will be used to send messages, and define the number of times the interface will retry messages that fail to send the first time. Some interfaces require additional information including phone numbers, communication speeds or other information specific to your site or site.
