Timers

Application timers control aspects of the system such as how regularly the status screens are updated, and how often the server processes active alarms and messages. Timer intervals are expressed in milliseconds, so that 1000 represents 1 second.

Increasing timer intervals will reduce the impact of Janusys Siren 2007 on your system, but will reduce the responsiveness of your alarm and message processing. Setting a timer interval to 0 will disable that timer.
